Preguntabas que "¿cuál nos ha gustado mas?", la verdad esta muy muy dificil, todas estan buenisimas.

En las fotos comparativas que tomaste desde el blvd de fluvial vallarta. Es triste ver que asi como han ido creciendo los edificios, el pasto de esa banqueta (donde te pusiste para tomar las fotos) se ha ido secando y se ve mas descuidado. :(

Yo pensé que el anuncio de los coches de lujo de la deck12 eran para un dealer ahi en el edificio.. jejeje, my bad.

el post 620 tambien tiene fotos desde un angulo poco visto de puerto vallarta y segun es ssc les gusto mucho, la verdad a mi tambien me fascino esa toma, valio la pena la correteada q me puso el chucho de esa casa pipirisnais

jeje, el centro bien adornado con parte de conchas chinas de fondo. el centro de PV es para disfrutar caminando, y yo solo le cambiaría dos cosas (como a la mayor parte del país): el cableado, que sea subterraneo como en el malecón (¡La zona romántica quedaría perfecta!), y los camiones... son horribles (como en la mayor parte del país, claro), aunque es muy agradable ver a los gringos con chela en mano que se suben a los camiones sin ningun problema :haha:, se les ha de hacer muy exótico y bizarro.

hay un proyecto que se esta llevando acabo que es el de la renovacion del centro historico no se si tocara la parte de los muertos pero en el centro a cambiado muy significativamente el entorno, no mas cableado, no mas anuncios luminosos, todo muy bien pintado...esperemos y esta renovacion del centro continue la verdad esta quedando muy padre.

Yo viví en PV por casi 10 años a finales de los 80s y una Buena parte de los 90s y una de las cosas que me encantaba de Vallarta era su aire tan típico mexicano, su arquitectura rústica y el hecho que la mayoría de los hoteles iban de acuerdo al estilo de arquitectura local. Era como un Taxco pero en la playa y se diferenciaba de Acapulco, Cancún, Mazatlán y Cabo por ser la ciudad de playa más mexicana y original del país.

Incluso hoteles grandes como el Fiesta Americana y el Sheraton tenían diseños que trataban de ir con el contorno de la zona. A principios y mediados de los 90s empezaron a construir la zona de La Marina y con ella empezaron a llegar los hoteles más modernos y mas grandes como el Meliá, el Marriott, El Velas Vallarta y el Vidafel, sin embargo aunque mucha gente local no estaba muy de acuerdo con sus diseños, por su tamaño no muy alto solo se alcanzaban a ver ya cuando uno estaba dentro del área de La Marina o desde el mar.

Yo tengo 14 años que no voy para allá, ya que estuve viviendo todo ese tiempo fuera de México y apenas regresé hace poco, pero me da mucha tristeza que Vallarta se esté convirtiendo en otro Cancún o Acapulco y esté perdiendo ese aire que tenía. Yo no me opongo a que sigan desarrollando la zona de Bahía de Banderas y que traigan nuevos proyectos como el centro de convenciones o Liverpool pero esos edificios nuevos tan altos que están construyendo definitivamente están muy fuera de contexto con la arquitectura de la ciudad.

Yo se que a muchos en este foro les encantan los edificios altos, incluyéndome a mi, pero no porque nos gusten vamos a decir que construyan torres altas en todos los lugares y en todas las ciudades de México. Yo creo que en ciertos casos se tiene que respetar el entorno donde se construyen estos proyectos nuevos.

Si esos edificios en las fotos estuvieran en Acapulco, Cancún, Ixtapa o Veracruz; yo estaría celebrando con ustedes que estén agregándole altura a esas ciudades pero en el caso de Vallarta me da mucha pena.

Estima la empresa inaugurarlo en 2 años; se trata de una fábrica con un museo de sitio

Ciudad de México (2 octubre 2009).- Frank Gehry, hito de la arquitectura contemporánea, pone sus ojos en México, específicamente en Puerto Vallarta, donde ha proyectado para José Cuervo un museo que estima abrir sus puertas dentro de dos años, según anunció a REFORMA Ercilia Gómez Maqueo, directora de Fomento Cultural de la empresa tequilera.

Se trata de un proyecto que contempla la edificación de una fábrica de tequila, una cava y un museo de sitio que reunirá obra de cinco artistas: Manuel Felguérez, Leonora Carrington, Francisco Toledo, Juan Soriano y Fernando de Szyszlo, de quienes la firma posee un nutrida colección.

"Ya está todo listo para empezar (la construcción). ¿Cuándo? Puede ser el mes que entra, en 15 días, en diciembre, tal vez en enero. Es un año muy complejo, pero es una realidad. Lo más importante es que ya se tienen las colecciones", adelantó Gómez Maqueo.

Con este proyecto, el ganador del Premio Pritzker de Arquitectura 1989 —autor de complejos como la Sala de Conciertos Walt Disney de Los Ángeles, la Casa Danzante de Praga y los museos Weisman de Minneapolis y Guggenheim de Bilbao, su obra más célebre— integrará a México en la selecta lista de países que albergan sus proyecciones.

"El museo es parte de un plan mucho más ambicioso, de desarrollo económico, cultural, comunitario, de desarrollo global para la región", precisó Gómez Maqueo.

El concepto de este recinto, a ubicarse en las afueras de Puerto Vallarta, es similar al Museo de Diseño Vitra, en Alemania, que integra una fábrica de muebles y un museo de la silla, el cual reúne modelos de diversas épocas.

"Ese museo lo diseñó Gehry como una de sus primeras aportaciones a esta combinación de cultura con desarrollo".

En los próximos días darán a conocer algunas imágenes del proyecto, aseguró la promotora. Sobre el monto de inversión, dijo no tener informes.

El director ejecutivo de José Cuervo, Juan Domingo Beckmann, prefirió no ahondar en el tema: "Tenemos por ahí a un arquitecto, pero no quiero decirlo hasta que no esté firmado", zanjó.

Adelantó, sin embargo, que el museo se ubicará a 15 minutos del centro de Puerto Vallarta, muy cerca del aeropuerto y del muelle para cruceros.

"Se trata de darle un atractivo más al puerto", apuntó Beckmann.

El museo albergará una colección de arte que integra las obras de los cinco creadores que, hasta el momento, han diseñado licoreras conmemorativas de la marca Cuervo 1800: Carrington, Toledo, Soriano, De Szyszlo y Felguérez, cuyo diseño fue presentado el miércoles por la noche.

La empresa cuenta con un acervo de alrededor de 150 piezas, entre ellas también las de artistas en vías de consolidación y de mediana carrera.

Para albergar a estos últimos, la firma también tiene entre sus planes la apertura de un segundo museo, éste a ubicarse en su sede de Tequila.

Adaptado por Javier Sordo Madaleno, el recinto albergará la memorabilia de la empresa y una colección de arte mexicano contemporáneo, con artistas como Betsabé Romero, Fernanda Brunet, Sergio Hernández, Raymundo Sesma, Marco Arce y Pedro Friedeberg, quienes, en diversos momentos, han diseñado cajas para la marca José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia.

"De todos ellos se ha comprado un lote de obra que va directo a los acervos", refirió Gómez Maqueo.

La labor de Cuervo, en el sentido de armar colecciones contemporáneas, viene a llenar un hueco que han desatendido las instituciones, consideró, pues desde hace algunos años los recintos públicos han dejado de comprar obra.

Felguérez al acervo

La obra de Manuel Felguérez será huésped del museo que José Cuervo encomendó a Frank Gehry.

El artista se sumó al selecto grupo de creadores que han diseñado licoreras para la marca de tequila 1800, que son los mismos a los cuales la empresa adquirió un lote de piezas. La lista la completan Leonora Carrington, Francisco Toledo, Juan Soriano y Fernando de Szyszlo.

Diseñada en plata, la licorera —de la cual sólo se elaboraron sólo 10 piezas, y que fue presentada el miércoles en un evento privado en Casa del Lago— tiene un costo de 10 mil dólares. Lo recaudado se destinará al Fideicomiso ProBosque de Chapultepec.

Felguérez, quien asegura tomarse por lo menos un tequila doble al día, agradeció el reconocimiento.
