Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Sendeturm Koblenz was a tall radio tower built of wood. It belonged to the tallest towers ever built of wood.
In 1965 it was demolished, because the rent treaty for the area on which the tower stood run out.
It was replaced by a 52 metre tall guyed mast.
In 1974 the facility was shut down completely.
