So getting to watch an hourlong taping of The Price is Right is a ten hour ordeal. I learned this the hard way yesterday.

You sat through that?

My paternal grandmother won the big showcase on "The Price is Right" back in '92 or '93. She was nearing 80 at that time and she won all kinds of crap she didn't need or want, like a dune buggy, scuba gear, snow ski equipment, hiking stuff, and a jet ski. She wanted to leave the junk with her daughter (my aunt) who had teenagers and lived in Santa Barbara but due to the strict rules of the show, all of that stuff had to be delivered to her home in Elk River, Minnesota. Do you know how hard it is to unload a dune buggy and skuba gear in Minnesota? By brother took the snow skies off of her hands but the other shit was in her garage for years. They wouldn't give her the cash equivalent either, AND she had to pay taxes on this stuff. Other than getting to kiss her "big daddy man", Bob Barker, I think she regretted ever going to the show.

HAHAHAHAHA.

Buffalo's once LOVED Willis McGahee is now the most hated man in town, and boy does he HATE Buffalo.

http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/football/bal-sp.mcgahee25mar25,0,3932402.story?page=1&coll=bal-sports-fo

Happy to leave

Last season ended and McGahee left Buffalo, N.Y., immediately. "I couldn't wait to get out of there," the running back says. He rushed home to Miami and left his visiting mother in Buffalo to tie up loose ends. McGahee had no doubt that his time with the Bills was over, even though another year remained on his contract.

Ten weeks later, his agent called and told McGahee a trade to Baltimore was complete. "I was yelling and [stuff], running through the whole house, screaming, 'Yes! Yes!'" he says. "It was such a relief."

(ed. note - that's SO ME!!!)

"I've grown a whole lot," McGahee says. "It doesn't feel like it's been five years since college. Coming from Miami, I was used to partying, going out, just having something to do every night. Restaurants, whatever. Going to Buffalo, it was like hitting a brick wall. Like, 'Damn!' Can't go out, can't do nothing. There's an Applebee's, a TGI Friday's, and they just got a Dave & Busters. They got that, and I'm like, 'What the?' And, you know, the women ...

:haha:

In fact, I love him so much now, well... look at the name :D

And he's just described Detroit to the tee.... just replace Applebee's, TGI Friday's, and Dave & Buster's with Au Bon Pain, Checkers, and Fed Ex/Kinko's and we've completed the change from a McGahee quote to a Sarreaux quote.
