I don't think that saying I hate people (or more accurately: people's attitude) editing their posts to weasel out of a discussion they can't win, is 'calling names'. But it seems you and I have a different definition of that term.
"I hate people like you" = bad
"I hate people's attitude" = okay
IMO
and the smiley was 'cuz I agreed with ya :cheers: editing posts like that doesn't exactlly put one in the best light (tho I guees it depends on what one wrote...)

Well, Shiro here probably heard somewhere the phrase "Soviet Russia" and now thinks that its something worth repeating. While the phrase, at least to me, really doesn't have any connection with reality.

There's simply nothing "Soviet" about today's Russia.

Believe-you-me, I understand your frustration. Imagine being the one who has to deal with the annoying problems on a daily basis :)

Well, the main webserver is back up now, I just have to wait for the people at blacksun to add it back into the DNS round-robin... From there I'm going to set up www1 as the main webserver, and have everything run through it. It should prevent the slowdowns that people experience periodically.

The only real problem we run into is the stupid database errors that pop up randomly. Occasionally a mysql thread will crash for no reason other than the fact that it just wants to, and it corrupts the tables. Unfortunately it takes around 90 minutes to 2 hours to repair the post table.

Yes, there was a frustrating problem with SSP earlier, but Dylan seems to have fixed it. :tup: And SSC has been running smoothly of late, sorry to hear you're having problems there as well.

SSC is full of S**t & slow, and full of trolls, I no longer bother going there, well In past 10 months I posted only 14-16 posts on that forum, tells you how much I care about it.

I prefer this forums here, much better place to talk projects, and no lies and trolls to worry about imho.
