I dont see the problem people are having with this building. The idea is very original. The building is nicely designed, and as someone else pointed out its way better then having a normal spire.

Of course its not suppose to be practical, but show me a building on this forum that's completly practical.

the building is coming along great! i like the design of the building too bad they didnt put enough thought into it.

Guys, "The World Largest And Highest Sundial" has been removed from the design and it will NOT be incorporated in the tower. :jester:

The developer, after using that as a marketing tool for all this years, is claiming now that Dubai Municipality didn't approve their plans to have one. :haha:
