That road might be hundreds of years old, does anyone know more about that road?
I've been to Sichuan, and the new highways there are just as impressive!

These would not hold up to Western engeneering standards. Cooling looking, however.

There are many roads similar to these throughout the mountainous regions of China. Many of them are indeed navigable by vehicles (I have seen as large as trucks moving through in videos, although tight and dangerous), while some can only be reached by foot. Some of these roads are built during the 50s Communist era to transport goods, people,... up, down and through the treacherous mountains of China. I don't know too much about their construction, but they were very rudimentary paths carved out wherever easiest on the cliffsides. Even today many still travel miles daily on these routes for their living.

I see that someone has taken this post ,totally mislabeled it and it's showing up on many sites as Stremnaya Road, the"Road Of Death" situated in Bolivia.

There is a road in Bolivia called the "road of death" named Yungas Road so named because of the high number of fatalities on it each year but it's appearance isn't anywhere close to this beauty in China.

I have tried to find out more information about this road and the closest pictures I can find that resemble this terrain is the Leshan Giant Bhudda.

Does anyone have any more information about this place?

Thanks.

^it was me who posted it as Stremnaya Road, Bolivia. The thread is still on first page. I received the pics labeled as that. But in the thread I already admitted it could be elsewhere, but all my google searches labeled it as being really in Bolivia, sites in english, german, etc. It may just prove that hoax emails travel faster than light or even tachyons!
