the thing about it is that it's hard to get a unique and interesting pose of the thing. it's easy to do the generic view which i just did, though. but it's as photographed as the toronto skyline from the toronto islands or montreal from mont royal or the view south from harbor centre in vancouver. nothing wrong with them, it's just there usually isn't anything new when you see them.

This summer Suncor Energy Centre, formerly PetroCanada, will lose its status as tallest building in Calgary to the Bow and join the Calgary Tower as a former tallest.
I wonder how long the Bow will reign as tallest in Calgary and tallest in Canada outside of downtown Toronto?

Most of those shots were taken in Nutana, a neighbourhood just across the river from downtown where I live. It's very liveable. I can walk to the downtown, the university, grocery store, banks, coffee shops, many bars etc. I have to use my car far less than what the majority of most people living in Canada's larger CMAs ever would. Some people just can't handle a little cold in winter, but I don't mind :haha:
