Your pictures are great, I check your page every once in a while, it's very extensive . One thing I hate about Flickr is that when I reach 200 photos, it'll start to make the old ones completely inaccessible (unless I pay for a pro account).

PBase is also limited. I don't know if it's still the case, but in the past you could only link directly to images with a paid account. The number of photos per gallery and number of galleries were also limited.
In the future I may get a flickr pro account. Back when I first started my PBase account there was no flickr so it wasn't an option.
As soon as I have the money to do so I'm upgrading my flickr account. It's a good site. :)

Someone on Flickr loaded about 150 pics of the waterfront, they were in the evening though. I'm gonna go through them and post a thread in found photos later today. I'll add some pics from the riverfront too.

These last additions might be some of the most interesting pics yet!
Whistler - I love that last picture you posted...love it. Also, the second last interior shot, where is that? Very cool...
1ajs - Are these your photos? Some of those are very interesting, the 2nd and 5th ones in the "fish lens" kind of angles are fantastic..
Vid, love the sleeping giant shot. It's been about 13 years since I drove through T Bay - and unfortunately, didn't stop long...but I recall what seemed to be a nice "boardwalk" along the lake - is my memory just getting foggy? If so, it'd be great to see that again

I accidentally ended up in Dartmouth Crossing the other day and it is surprisingly large. They claim that it is the largest retail development East of Calgary and that is very likely true. Judging from Google Maps, the site (which I think is just "phase one") is about one and a half square kilometres.
The MacKay bridge has some pretty nice views.

YAAAAY, Dartmouth!
I don't care if it is suburban, gotta lotta memories there. The area between downtown Dartmouth and Penhorn Mall, if my memory isn't completely fucked, wasn't so bad. Lots of nice houses on hills. Me and my friends would bike from outer Cole Harbour and down that giant hill near Portland Estates that was so elevated you could see most of the city. I wan' go home. http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/2738/icon84skws4.gif
I always liked the tower on the left when on the highway near Mic Mac Mall. I guess the one on the right is fairly new? I don't remember it.

I took a walk with a friend today and brought along my camera and I have a handful of photos to share. These were taken by me on July 2nd.
Harbour Green Park and a portion of the Seawall in Coal Harbour, downtown Vancouver. On Canada Day there were fireworks out in Burrard Inlet and Harbour Green Park was the preferred viewing location. It is always hard to judge crowds but I would guess there were several thousand people in the park and who knows about many watching from other locations and various lengths of the Seawall. It was a pleasant exprience, though it certainly wasn’t on the scale of the Celebration of Light.
http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/8329/coalharbourseawallatharps0.jpg
These three photos are of the Mole Hill housing co-operative in the West End neighbourhood of downtown Vancouver. It is an entire city block of old Edwardian and Victorian homes that were saved and beautifully restored. Many of the houses now contain multiple dwellings and there is a range of options for different household sizes and mobility needs. Of particular interest is the traffic-calmed alley that is barely recognizable when compared to most alleys in the city. I have been told that there was a real knock-down, drag’em-out fight to get the City of Vancouver’s Engineering department to agree to the proposed alley configuration. Everything seems to have worked itself out now and the Engineering Department has got themselves a working laboratory to gauge how such an unconventional laneway will hold up to use over time.

http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/2701/molehill2vv7.jpg
http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/8463/molehilltrafficcalmedalio9.jpg
Progress on the Pacific Boulevard boulevard. That isn’t a typo. The absurd six or seven lane Pacific Boulevard that was built to carry the anticipated BC Place crowds that would arrive exclusively by car is now being scaled down to a much more sensible four lanes. A second median will separate on-street parking. The downtown streetcar will eventually travel along the inner through lane once that service is created and expanded to phase 2.5. (Phase 0 being the run between Granville Island and Scienceworld, Phase 1 being from Scienceworld to Waterfront Station. Phase 2 being from Waterfront station to Stanley Park)
http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/9349/pacificblvdprogressjulytk6.jpg
It is an observation of mine that the more one is out and about observing a city, the greater the likelihood you will come across bizarre sights that exist for only brief periods of time. I happened to find a Pepsi machine in the middle of a side street in Yaletown, a block over from Urban Fare and the Roundhouse Community Centre (second photo).
http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/8098/pepsimachineinyaletownsqe4.jpg
http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/8562/roundhousecommunityctrain9.jpg
This is the Yaletown Park part of the Yaletown Park residential project. I’m not sure what to make of it yet. It needs to weather and it needs some people. The Starbucks that is opening should help somewhat with the people but I don’t know what people will do at the park. The benches are nice but they’re at the sides and made of metal. The cobbles are interesting, certainly a departure from poured concrete or pre-cast cement pavers. I’ll hold off my own judgement for a year to see how it turns out.
http://img160.imageshack.us/img160/2643/yaletownparkhardscapingxz5.jpg
The station box for the Yaletown RAV/Canada Line station. I haven’t been by in a while and I was surprised to see the steel bracing. I deliberately violated the “no pedestrians on bridge” rule as a quiet protest over the bridge's lack of consideration for pedestrians.
http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/9674/yaletownravstnwithbraciki0.jpg
A shot of the emerging Coopers Quay precinct by Concord Pacific taken from the Cambie Street Bridge. The Seawall component of the build out appears to nearly be complete and I’m looking forward to it being opening soon. I don’t have a picture, but the Plaza of Nations sure looks strange without the glass space frame. I never realised how much the space frame tied the space together, nor did I realise how ugly I found the buildings flanking it to be on their own.
http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/114/coopersquayprecinctjulyon5.jpg
The last shot looks back at part of the Yaletown neighbourhood. The amount of surface parking that still exists is amazing and underscores the point that the final build-out of Yaletown is still some ways off, despite the breakneck pace of construction over the last decade plus.

These two (http://www.flickr.com/photos/9434853@N02/689169312/) are the only photos of Thunder Bay (on our way out!)
Story: we were going to stay in Thunder Bay for the night, and were looking forward to seeing this Northern Town . . . after seeing it, however, we had to drive on, as tired as we were, because it reminded us too much of the Hamilton we were driving away from!

The lower floors of the Met Condo are being occupied. You can see how the top of the building is still dark because no one lives there yet.
For those of you unfamiliar with Toronto , take your cursor place it on the Lights of City hall and drag directly up, you will see the outline of The Met Condo, lights on in the lower portion, not on in the higher section.

Up until last month, that was a ratty old hardware store. It was closed for some time before being turned into "Thunder Bay's first and only eco-fashion boutique". Good news for Bay Street. :)

Then, link the imageshack version to the page at webshots that the original appears on. You can't link an image from webshots onto another site, it won't let you. Ya, don't bother alright but nothing special. Burrito Boyz is the best IMO, followed by Big Fat Burrito. If you go to Burrito Boyz on John at lunch Mon-Fri expect to wait about 20 mins in line.

Graupner - Very, very, cool. I love those shots. Obviously a pro-photographer.
Caltrane - Nice cars, but nothing unique to Toronto...all rolling the streets of Calgary, Vancouver - and I imagine Montreal too ;) Though, I haven't seen an SLR in black.
EDIT: I wish I had my camera a few years ago, when some dude was driving his brand-new 360 (at the time, prior to the 430) in snow with freshly laid gravel...it was quite the sight!

EDIT: I wish I had my camera a few years ago, when some dude was driving his brand-new 360 (at the time, prior to the 430) in snow with freshly laid gravel...it was quite the sight!
We should all be so lucky.

I guess that was really my point (and, as you mentioned earlier, a good amount of those photos aren't in Yorkville anyway)...but, the same concentration of amazing cars can be found in/around Kerrisdale in Vancouver, or on nice days, 17th Ave area in Calgary.
A few years ago, when the newest M3 (E46 at the time) came out - like, just came out - and I was walking to the Lilac Festival, I noticed a couple go by so started counting...I got to 25 (coupes and convertibles) before I lost interest in counting. Sure, that's only $75-80k, but you get the idea.
I recall an article a couple years ago (2005-ish) that just as many Mercedes AMG SL65s were sold in Calgary compared to all of the TO area...that's only $250k though ;-)
Re-examining your photos though, the Carrera GT driving with snowbanks 4 feet high on the curbs is impressive.
