Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Tallest tower ever built in Japan. The tower was the antenna of a 4000 kilowatt LORAN-C transmitter, which was one of the most powerful transmitters ever used.
The tower collapsed at maintenance work in 1965. The mast destroyed thereby also the other equipment of the station. The facility was rebuilt, but no data of rebuilt mast seem to be available.
