Controversial tower proposed for Jefferson Highway in Metairie. It will be located about 1/4 mile from Ochsner Hospital and will be between Jeff. Hwy. and the Miss. River. Thoughts? It's up for discussion on the nola.com link I provided. It has passed all hurdles thus far, and is scheduled for a final vote before the Jefferson Parish Council in early January. I'd say this is easily a +90% chance of coming to fruition, easy....It will be well over 400 feet.

There's a lot going on there. I'm not sure about the multi colored glass stripes, the random balconies and, the stairstep roofs AND the extra framing at the top. I do like the taller one on the right a lot more, it works much better than the stubby one with the vertical banding and the more awkward top.

so the buildings look like half of the windows have been blown out in preperation for the next hurricane? that way, itll match it's surroundings??

i like the building shapes and sizes, but that patchy window work!
