Hi all, here are some pics from Nov. 26/27 when Vancouver got a surprising amount of snow, especially for this time of year. Unfortunately the snow is already no longer with us... enjoy.

Honestly, with it being so close to Seattle and all, I never knew Vancouver got this cold. I've never seen Seattle like this atleast.

Great shots. Vancouver looks beatiful in the snow. Of course, it looks beautiful all the time.

Ah, snow. Beautiful. I wish it do that down here more often. The trouble is we never have the right conditions at the same time. We do get cold enough, infact, I just checked and it's colder in Austin right now than in Vancouver, 43F in Vancouver and 35F in Austin with a 27F windchill. We either have cold dry air, (35% now), or if it does rain or sleet it's like 40F and it doesn't actually snow.

Great pics, Vancouver is beautiful snow or not.

Thanks for all the positive feedback everybody. Greatly appreciated. That's interesting about Austin. I definitely wouldn't have expected it to get as cold as that. It's too bad that you still have to suffer through the cold but yet never get some snow just for a bit of fun.

it's always the same... magic when it falls, pretty nice when you look at the result through your window the morning after, and then it's just brown, grey, tiring and F~°<?&%$!»°~¤*.

:haha: haha, yeah, that's the other side of the medal. But hey, keep that little fact for yourself until tomorrow, when you'll have to free your car from snow or else :naughty:

I saw a week or so ago that Seattle had a lot of snow as well, which is unusual. I love the snow pics of Vancouver though - especially the snow-covered palms. I won a bet with someone once when I said there are palm trees in Canada. Few people know that a hardy variety (Windmill Fan Palms) of palm grows in the Vancouver area.

Weather is weird. Right now it's 62 in Denver and in the 40s in Houston. Denver's as warm as Miami today.

I like it! I can't think of a better climate. There is nothing cooler than snow that doesn't come quite so often. Great photos!

Snow just doesn't fit in for Vancouver. It doesn't seem to complement the surroundings. Van's a green and blue city, no doubt about it.
