OK, this baby's done... or rather, I'm done with this baby. Had a dozen or more mid-rises that could be added but enough already. Whoever talked me into extending the picture EAST (maybe I talked myself into it?) to accomodate the Hummingbird condo.... geeeeeesh. 20 buildings had to be made to gain that little bit more east of BCE that didn't exist in the base photo. Go easy on me about the new "slice" that was created... not perfect but it's a total "build" and at least the Libeskind is in there at last.
BTW, at a glance the render may not seem all that different but there are around a hundred changes, new buildings, improvements (better looking Sapphire for example... hey, why not? Something will get built there)... plus some hints of the future waterfront such as West 8 finger piers, HtO etc.
For folks who like to zoom in, I've included a link to a much larger pic. If you shrunk that fella down to print size, you'd get good results (probably close to 300 dpi).
At the end of the post I've included an old shot of Toronto that demonstrates nicely how we are doing on the "lots of parking lots" front. ;-)
Please feel free to share this on other forums (in fact I insist! I need the attention.) and be sure to emphasize that 98% of this is u/c or will definitely be built... this ain't no fantasy render.
I'll stick this in the Toronto compilation thread, because that's what this is in many ways.
Enjoy and happy holidays.
