A holiday stroll in the Paseo... Forgive my dark/shaky/blurry pictures... They're not too bad. lol

This was on December 15- the Paseo was having a Gallery Walk and the coming soon restaurant Sauced was having a reception to get the word out... It was pretty busy. Lots of families, artists, bands, and people in the market for expensive art! Also I noticed a lot of dogs... Paseo is really dog-friendly... You can just take them right in the galleries.

Everyone was really, really friendly. I had a great time, and all of the artists were happy to give directions, explain their art, recommend a restaurant, hand out brochures... etc etc. It's a cool neighborhood.

I have never been to the Paseo, where is it at in OKC? I would assume somewhere around NW 23rd Street near Western? Looks like an interesting district.

Not as far as Western really. If you go down 23rd, look on the north side of the road and you will see the Paseo column sign things in the area. You have to go a little north of 23rd to get to it, but you know exactlly when youve found it. I think its actually 30th or something.

It's centered around 30th and Walker. I guess becuase of the columns that they consider it to go down to 23rd, but the main body of the art galleries and shops is further north.

Wow, I would really love to learn more about this place! To me it looks really unique for a big city.
