Here are some minto Contruction Shots from Flickr. This has got to be the best website known to man. I love it.

Of course this is the shorter tower going up under construction now. The taller tower is under construction next to it and should go up to 54 stories.

Looking tall. And Caltrane I gree, I've taken a number of images from that site and had them printed at blacks to frame for my place. I've been nicknamed the flickr whore at work.

Big question,
are they building the second tower or are they just finishing the podium? (required by design) Anyone know? - ice

Thats good news. It ain't quite an architectural masterpice but compared to some of the projects in the area built in the early 70s a most welcome addition. Personally if it overshadows everything else in the area I can only see that as a good thing. Those Yonge and Eglinton NIMBYs don't know what's good for them. - ice

Yonge and Eglinton is developing how the French say "critical mass" for density.

It will have a really cool vibe in a couple of years, with these new buildings alone. Not to mention all the development proposed for the TTC bus park.

Hopefully Y&E could turn out something like this in a few years.

If they could just rip down those ugly black mid rises on the south west corner. The rest is an interesting concept. Minto developments open the door. - ice

^I like those towers although their groundlevel could use a lot of work

All right,
lets agree they need a bit of a make over. I guess the black obolistic tops aren't the offensive part. The whole area has great potential despite the cancellation of the Eglinton Subway. Don't get me started on that one ... - ice

Is this drawing a vision or is there any meat behind it?
