Remember how dry summer was in BC in 2003? All those brutal forest fires?

Things even out.

its been drier since then, just that there was nothing left to burn.

this summer was the first time our well ran dry, ever. We had to dig it down an extra 25 feet in total. first 15 feet in may, then another 10 feet in july. Considering this has been a 50 foot wel that has lasted for 18 years, that is a big jump for one year.

What about Ontario?? :( Things aren't evening out here!

We're going to have a very bad summer, for the second year in a row, if things don't improve. This time last year we had 4 times the snow we have now, and we got over 1000 forest fires. Who knows what we'll see this summer.

Things seem pretty normal so far this winter in Calgary, but then again I barely remember one day to the next let alone one winter to the next!;)
