working on it. should have all the albums up within a week. It's a lot of work.
Beautiful! Is there anywhere we can see your collection before you resampled them?
Not really. I don't host full res images on the net. First off, it would take up too much space and slow everything down and secondly, people could take them and use them as they please. You really can't do much more than use these as a screen saver...
Thanks again guys.

That is the southern slope of San Bruno Mountain in the city of South San Francisco (not part of SF proper). I've never heard of a mudslide on San Bruno Mt. but it's certainly possible.

Great photos
One that really stuck out to me is the foot print of those Potereo Hill Projects, how low density they are. Amazing on some of the most costly real estate on earth
Other interesting ones are the office tower alone among town homes in low rise South City. Such an odd place for a condo tower
Do you have any idea what town that second photo is of the suburban sprawl? Looks like Eastern Contra Costa or Alemeda counties

I am not sure why this developer was allowed to build this. I watched all of those townhome get built. Parts of San Bruno Mountain are being encroached upon. The mid rise is 100% auto dependant (a walk to Caltrain is possible but very unpleasant). Not a wise landuse decision when you consider there is a new Bart station across town in South City
Interestingly there is still what I believe is a working flower farm about half a mile up Hillside road. When my father was a child this was almost all farms

To me it looks like at least 40 miles from SF. I can't think of anything near by that looks like that. I am thinking far Eastern Contra Costa or Alameda county. Maybe Brentwood?

Yeah, many of the units in the PH projects are unoccupied as well. If it weren't for the projects and nearby industrial areas, Potrero Hill and Hunters Point would be prime locations for some big ass mansions.
I really dislike that tower on mount San Bruno in south City though...it's just badly placed (and ugly), I don't know what they were thinking.

They were thinking they'd build more, and Jack Meyer (the prime developer has proposed several additional towers to the area. The building is still ugly however.

My issue with them is the location. I would guess close to 100% of the people who live in that tower drive everywhere.
Towers near South City Bart I think would be wise

Great great! We might complain here about San Franciso's smugness but your pics prove that they have something to be smug about! There's lot of factors that go into making San Francisco so beautiful but it's her setting that is the main reason for why she is the way she is -the bay, the hills, the mountains..so try as others cities might without a truly gorgeous setting they will never be like San Francisco. And of course all that draws to it many unique people who appreciate it's many unique charms.

^^^That twin-spired building in the center is maybe my favorite in the city. The top floors are a Mandarin Oriental Hotel where you can get a room with a shower that has a glass wall that's actually a picture window looking out over the city. You can stand there neked knowing there's nobody up high enough to see you (unless a helo comes by).
