Most Canadian plates are very boring looking. We need something more colourful like a lot of the US states have IMO.
I agree. Alot of Canada's plates need updating.

That looks pretty good! Stands out without being too busy. Manitoba's wouldn't be bad either, if it weren't for the icky colouring. I still like the plain and simple look though. I've always been partial to BC's plates. I never really liked the European style plates either. Maybe they're too plain. I don't like the length of them, either. I prefer the North American style...

I don't like it at all. I've paid big bucks to get a bunch of stuff shaved off my car to clean up the lines. There is no way in hell I'm putting on some bright multi coloured license plate. Give my a choice of colors for the digits and Alberta wording over a white backround and i'm fine.

The MB plate doesn't suit well with my cars. I'd rather have the old one.

In my opinion, the simpler the better for licence plates. Maybe even just the no nonsense British style ones with the large lettering, and definitely no multicoloured beavers, moose or mountains or provincial cliches.
