I thought Williams and Dame were looking at developing the block south of Atwater? Are they considering developing both blocks at the same time?
I wonder how long it will be until W&D or G-E pairs up with some company like Guardian to build apartments? No respectable developer would let Trammell Crow be the only one with a high priced apartment tower?

Last I heard the block south of Atwater was being re-designed to be cheaper to build (less geometric action) after some folks got cold feet. I doubt Atwater sales are helping. Apartments must be more likely than condos at this point.

I'd like to see a couple of perfectly round towers on the block, kinda like that one in the 'Couv...
The next block north is supposed to be a hotel, right?

Wow another 11 months have gone by... Any news? They planted some grass on this block last I walked by.

all or much of the dirt that was excavated from the Mirabella ended up on block 27. I suspect they planted grass just to tidy up the area, and minimize erosion and summer dust, since development on this site is probably years away now, unfortunately.
I also wonder if they'll open this new grassy area up for dog owners once they start construction of South Waterfront Neighborhood Park?
