WOW! Wonderful. Dig the shots from the top of the Global Bank. Is that a public deck?

Thanks! No it's not a public deck, sometimes you just have to go for it! I had the both sides of the deck to myself to take as many pics as I wanted.
The Global Bank at 43 floors 576 feet is a nice new office tower for the city and briefly held the top spot as the tallest in the City. Of course the 1000 footers underway are going to change the panaroma of the skyline significantly!

Thanks! The taller towers in the foto u/c approach 600 feet, the Trump Ocean Club will rise 300 feet higher in back of them.:D

That's an impressive skyline for a city that size (about 1,000,000 I believe). Are the huge number of residential units going to all sell? Looks like traffic is crawling along in the next to last pib in the post above.

Can't wait to see what the city looks like in about 10 years, wow. Thanks for the pics.

Panama City is certainly an underrated skyline and most definitely under-appreciated. It looks amazing in these photos, nice job.

The traffic scenerio is a good call out: Just one small example is the 104 floor 1300 foot Ice Tower resi/hotel tower u/c that will be occupied in 4 years approx. right smack on the same traffic jammed ocean front avenue (Avenida Balboa). There is major infrastructure planning underway including a huge land reclamation in front of the avenue for a green park and highway expansion.

As for the resi units selling, I'll use the same 104 floor Ice Tower example: It sold out almost immediately. Panama is an emerging hot spot for tourism and Europeans and North Americans are buying them like crazy.

Panama City is awesome. It's very modern, reasonably safe, and quite cosmopolitan. I sure would love to visit again, and this time check out the beaches and nightlife.

Excellent photos. I spent two weeks in Panama City in May of last year and I was very impressed. I wasn't all that impressed with the photos that I took but yours are very good. It will be interesting to see the skyline when several of the major projects that are underway are finally completed. Nice job.

Hmm. I wonder why Suez City doesn't have a similarly impressive skyline, being on a famous canal as well.

Outstanding photos. Unreal the growth that is burgeoning there. I saw a program on TV in Texas about the growth last night and the advantages of retiring there. Looks like it will be growing for quite some time to come.

A very impressive skyline!!

Looks like quite a bit of activity taking place there.

A nice modern skyline is sure shaping up.

It does remind one of Miami, Florida. Are many N. Americans buying in those apartment / condo towers? Mostly Miamians, I suppose. Seems soooo far away from us up here in the PNW and NE Pacific.

Thank you. I learned a lot about Panama today.

Nothing wrong with the shots, they are great and they give us a good look on how Panama City looks like. But IMO most of those sky scrapers are horrible. :yuck: (matter of taste)
