BILOXI - The City Council on Tuesday approved a height variance for the Tower at Edgewater to go up 29 stories instead of 33 stories.
The waiver for the 325-foot structure passed on a 4-3 vote. The developer received a variance to build 150 feet beyond the limit set by city law, which is 175 feet. The developer had requested 198 feet beyond that limit.
