What do you guys think of the delay issue that has been going on with GO TRANSIT the entire month?

Things have been so bad, that during morning rush hour I have not had one train come in on time the entire month. All you hear are customers bitching on the platform how the train is again 15min late, and now a strike might happen.

I don't know how much more customers are going to put up with this kind of service problems.

Have any of you been stuck in the delays?

I think this is really turning into a serious matter now.
If GO TRANSIT can not get people into the city ontime, this is not going to be good for business or for encouraging business to locate in the city.

^ No offence, Mike, but maybe you should refrain from starting such GO Transit related threads.

Its the Union that is causing these delays, they may blame this or that but in reality its just the Union screwing around. They are unhappy because Go tried to crack down on them for taking so many sick days off through the year.

I don't work at no booth.

The thing is us guys who know about transit know that it is CN workers. But the average rider does not care if it is a CN union member or not. They want their train on time.

Odd. THUNDER BAY TRANSIT has been consistently early this month. What about the TORONTO TRANSIT COMMISSION?

Besides, THUNDER BAY TRANSIT'S infrequent tardiness has not inhibited business growth into BALMORAL PARK, so I don't see why GO TRANSIT'S current woes will cause any similar problems. If it is cheaper to have office space in VAUGHN or MISSISSAUGA then businesses will move there on their own. The timeliness of GO TRANSIT has little to do with it.

then I don't understand the use of 'I' - you obviously aren't in a senior position
