Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): This guyed mast carryed a ring with a diametre of 64 metre. From this ring, which was equipped with a gangway wires run to its top and to a smaller ring near the bottom of the mast.
This mast was used as central backup antenna for all long- and mediuwave transmitters used for transmitting the program of Deutschlandfunk in Germany. So it had to be designed as broadband mast radiator.
After inaugauration of waveplan of Geneva, its use was impossible as according to its regulations the frequencies were coordinated to transmitter sites and so it went obsolete and dismantled in 1982.
