I took these last night at Indianapolis' Monument Circle (aka "The Circle") after the Colts DEMOLISHED the Bears in SuperBowl XLI. It was -4F last night, but that didn't stop thousands of people from packing Indy's downtown and Circle. Pay no attention to the cheetah-print scarf I am wearing! I wasn’t prepared and it was so cold, so I took whatever I could get. Little did I know that I would be INTERVIEWED by local News Channel 6 last night asking me the “meaning” of all of the people going to the Circle.

Pffft...you people call that a celebration? I kid I kid.

By the way, winning a game by a touchdown and a half as a result of one idiot quarterback essentially handing you guys the ball on that interception is not a demolishion. ;)

it is when you keep the ball out of the other teams hands for nearly 30 mins, gain twice as many total yards, and win the turnover battle. So, in all actuality, the Colts' score should have been over 40 points.

Perhaps it should've been over 40 points, but they scored 22 on offense.

a win is still a win... the "idiot" quarterback has to show up and play because football is a team sport... it's convenient to try to say that chicago lost to imply that indy didn't win... but you know what? INDY WON, and that's what the record books will show... they chose not to score on the final drive of the game because they had the win, even though they very well could have scored *at least* 3, if not more... so again... whatever.

So true - No one talks about how New England barely won all their Super Bowls (last minute kicks and such). All the talk was about the 'Dynasty' and the truth is they never dominated in any of their wins like the Colts did.

I've been here all my life, which consists of 51 years and as a black man I never have been prouder of our citizenry and team. We showed the midwest and world how to celebrate with class.Go Indy you deserve it.

I wish some of the idiots, here in Denver could have set that example, after our team won its two Super Bowls.
