No offense to Moncton, but it really doesnt have much of a skyline to look at yet imo.

Though I get to Moncton fairly often, it's usually with my fiancee's family, so no picture taking opportunites. The areas you mentioned have some good views for sure, but I haven't gotten any photos from there. To tide you over until stu_pendousmatt or someone else gets the photos, you can look at my Moncton photos here (http://www.pbase.com/smevo/moncton). There are a couple shots of the skyline, but they're from Riverview with one from the border with Dieppe (behind the A&W).

haha, ya beat me to it, I was gonna post this exact picture....most people fail to realize that moncton has a good skyline, you just need to get a really wide angle lens to see it all, because monctons skyline is really long, not in a clump like saint john or fredericton....even this picture misses out on the chateau moncton and a few others, oh well.

Actually, this photo does capture Chateau Moncton...it's just relatively insignificant from this angle.

Yes...and it also sadly captures the whole skyline in its entirity....it too is just relativly insignificant from this angle....

Well ok, it has a skyline to a point, but L'Assomption is the only tall building there. It just needs some more height, thats all :).

Like stu_pendousmat2 say, the skyline of Moncton is really long (about 2 km) and concentrate on Main street. The downtown is vast, not really in height.

So, I like the skyline of Moncton because he is really distinctive from every others skylines in Canada because of the Aliant Tower. For sure, my tastes are really bizzare. I like concretes buildings, square buidings, and straight skylines.

I think the Moncton's skyline one of my favorite skyline in all Canada :)

I will probably go to Moncton this spring. Maybe one meeting with all members of SSP Atlantic can be fun

Sorry for my poor English

Agree

There is a plenty of low rise buildings in Moncton. Blue Cross and CN office both in main street has a decent square footage but both are only eight-stories though. Moncton is a relatively young city without urban history that has a lot of free space downtown the developers can build more flat than high. Moreover they can save money and the city avoid negative public feedbacks.

No offence. :)
