None of them is really spectacular. Obvious lack of ambition.
I guess it wasn't such a good idea to require a skyscraper that deliberately avoids height and verticality.
Make me proud, give me a fat-scraper.

I found most of these designs challenging. Some of them incredible. None of them ordinary. Exciting.

well I think all of the others are much nicer than the morphosis one that was chosen. yes, even the nouvel's and koolhaas's boxes with the giant ad and observation decks.

at least they are symmetrical for a landmark tower along Paris' grand boulevards and other monuments.
