Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fredericton only has 4 completed buildings of 8 stories or over. There's NBPower Building (BOM Tower)-9, Regency House-9, Forest Hill Towers-9, and Carelton Place-8. Frederick Square 2 is approved at 9 stories but not built, and there are 3 buildings of 8 stories proposed though I can't confirm if all three are approved for beside the playhouse. What's the 5th building?

does anyone else see something wrong with the fact Moncton and Saint John have the same population but Moncton has 43% more hospital beds?

Also, if you list airport passengers, you should have port passengers as well (Saint John = 138,000 in 2007). And if you are only going to list tourist attractions within Saint John itself, you should take Parlee Beach and the Hopewell Rocks off the Moncton list, and King's Landing off the Fredericton list (or keep those and add the ones outside SJ along the coast to even it out).

Otherwise very good list, and thanks for taking the time to compile it. I'm very curious to see the upcoming building permits numbers, because SJ has some massive projects on the way, some of which are in the billions of dollars.

The hospital beds were for the Saint John Regional Hospital. It did not include St Joes Hospital uptown.....

Even with more beds doesn't Moncton not have as a large a hospital. Is it the case that the beds are split nearly down the centre between the two hospitals in Moncton.

Both can be configured differntly for non-hockey events.

^yeah, I think stupendousmat's numbers are for non-hockey events for the stadiums. I can't see Aitken Centre being able to hold 6,000 for hockey without an upper bowl. Moncton Colisseum has an upper bowl as does Centre 200 in Sydney which has a seating capacity of approximately 5,000 for hockey.

Thanks for the info, and I just got those attractions off the "top attractions" lists from the cities tourisms web-sites...if you could list some nearby attractions that would be great
