and here is surrey - near the end you can catch a glimpse of that new tower that looks really great - its getting visible from everywhere now :)

and yu can see the much improved king george highway - 2 lanes each way!! instead of 1 on what was an awful bottleneck - hopefully they finishe widening the rest - down near hwy 99

I hate you, I'm jealous :(

It was so beautiful here for the last few days, the snow was even melting..

Up until today that is.. Now that I'm done mid-terms, and I want to go to Regina to see my gf, all hell breaks loose. The #1 Highway between Regina and Moose Jaw is a sheet of ice, there's blowing snow and of course zero visibility.. And to make things better its raining now! Which means it will be even icier tomorrow

All of this means I'm stuck in Moose Jaw with nothing to do all weekend :( :(

I want summer!!

PS: Are there no sidewalks in Surrey!? :S It reminds me of the cottage country around Regina

That's awesome...I used to live in that hood but haven't been back since 2005.

On another note, glad to see the new tower u/c in Surrey.

What's the status of the White Rock towers at Thrift/152nd?

Cool, I was at home in South Surrey this week for reading break. Unfortunately I was stuck inside actually reading on Thursday. That first Infinity tower is looking great. The tower itself might be average but it looks like it is making a huge impact on the skyline. It'll be crazy once the rest are up, not to mention the other nearby upcoming developments. They're really going to change the look of the area in a very short time. Does anybody here know the actual height of that tower? It's 36 storeys right but how tall exactly?
