Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Part of a unique urban transport, the Rheinseilbahn, an aerial tramway crossing Rhine River. Rheinseilbahn is the only river crossing aerial tramway in Germany and a very nice tourist attraction.
It was built first in 1957, but dismantled in 1963 as a freeway bridge, the such called Zoo bridge over Rhine River was built. In 1966 it was rebuilt at its actual course.
