I was able to capture some pictures while going to and from work. Excuse the poor camera quality and time stamp. :P

First we have Salters Gate...I dont think it looks to bad, but could have been much better.

One of my favorite shots, Queen street scape with martello rising above. *sorry for the horrible picture quality*

Salter's Gate is not disastrously bad but its design is cluttered and it is not well-proportioned.

I hope that eventually the lot and the little parking garage next to the Bank of Canada building will be redeveloped. That big hole is not attractive. It ruins what could be a long, more or less continuous street wall.

The northern part of grounds of Province House also need to be overhauled. Originally they were just like the Southern part.

I think the Martello looks pretty good, especially from that angle. I also like the lions in Granville Mall. Those were originally on the Customs House that was demolished in the 1950s.

/\ Not being in a position to see Slater's Gate in person I find the architecture to be 'ok' ... I think it could have been fairly dramatic though with about 3x the height and a smaller footprint ...

As for the other pics ... good stuff and keep 'em a coming ... just remember if you are going to leave your date stamper on that it's ... believe it or not March 2007 ... not January 2002 ;)
