The floor count is definitely over 17 floors, so I'm going with Emporis.com's number. If you can find me a better picture that shows the full tower, that would be great, because the rendering of the building on Emporis.com shows more than 17 floors.

According to this photo of even emporis.com and several other commercial sale advertisements shows and refers to 17 floors. See this photo taken from emporis. I will see that Emporis site has many errors also. http://www.emporis.com/en/il/im/?id=237572 At homepage from the site of the bldg incorporation you will see it in middle the 3 also a good rendering of it. That company built the bldg and it is not wrong. http://www.ipl.com.br/ I myself made personal photos and count the floors. My eyes could not be wrong. So please consider 17 floors.

That photo shows AT LEAST 18 floors, and probably more depending on what's counted at the very top of the tower above the stonework.

The 17 floor has only a glass wall around higher to obscure the machinery on top and the base of the telecommunication tower, but the roof of it is on 17 floor. there is no 18 roof. On the 18 roof has the machinery as cooling water towers for air conditioning and the base of The Globo telecommunication tower all made in steel but none intermediate floors in upper steel tower to be counted. There is none stonework above 17 floor with closed roof for habitants.
