yeah, that's hot. What's the deal... is it under construction, sales, proposal, etc.?

the area looks familiar... near Ossington... or Dovercourt?

Great design. Wish I could afford a unit.

is that a render or actual building which exists?! where abouts is it on college?

It will be in the heart of Little Italy on College St, but this is just a rendering. A very good rendering, I might add....

What does it represent?

What does it represent?

It represents a condominium building with 8 units.

So it's utilitarian, then?

Taller Better

Yes!! Basically just a room to lay one's head..

And people are expected to pay money for this?

Where do you keep the dilapidated Trans-Am??

You find this project aesthetically unpleasant? I'm afraid you are in a minority there, vid... you are not a big fan of buildings in Toronto, I take it..... ;)

I love the building. It's just that this design is starting to become over used, imo. It doesn't represent much. It has little meaning. It's just "cool looking infill".

It isn't good enough for Toronto. Toronto deserves something more inspired, and more inspiring.

But it is just infill. So two points! :D

This design is starting to become overused??!?!? :koko: Where, may I ask? Have you got any examples of this overuse?
Or, just plain use for that matter?

Vid, this design is few and far between.

Here is a larger image, and the architectural firm can take credit for putting up some of the best buildings in the GTA such as the Morgan and BMW Toronto.

Of any building going up in Canada I would have to say this is one of the styles least used, as opposed to "overused". Maybe Thunder Bay has streets upon streets of them...

I actually saw a somewhat similar looking building in Portland. Though, that is about it..

I can recall seeing a few more.

Iono, it just doesn't really speak to me. There is something that this building lacks (or possibly includes) that just turns me off about it, I don't know what it is?

Now I feel bad. Thanks. :(

Here's something similar, but not as glassy.

Between this and College street's "cool" infill, all I have to say is.... Dr. Suess is an architect too?

The only similar design in Toronto I can think of is the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art across from the ROM, but the similarities are not that pronounced.
