View Full Version : sunken highways

Ok, so who uses sunken highways? What wall set do you use, and how frustrating is it for you? I have perfected how to make them, but I have 1 problem. The underbridge stuff, I have jeronj's highway walls but I can't get anything to go under the offramp and on ramps, or I would be totally set.

Raise a three title wide rectangle 2-3 titles above normal over the distance you want your tunnel. Then drag your road down the middle. It should turn green once you have reached the end of the raised area... it will make the tunnel then you can level out the area and build. If it doesn't turn green the titles might have to be raised more.. it takes some tweaking sometimes. Its harder to do in Simcity4

I wish someone could come here and go totally all out on my Sim City :( I mean, I want all of that but I just can't figure out how to do it. I.E. what downloads I should get and how to put it onto it. I know how to download stuff and mods and stuff, I just don't know whatelse I should do. It seems that whenever I try, it screws the whole thing up. BAH

simtropolis would be the best place to go, and search for jeronj and buddybud and download all of their sunken highway stuff, should help somewhat.
and look soo freaking close I can almost get the shit to work!!

SC's not a big fan of interstate-standard expressways, eh? :haha:
those are some haphazard, old school exit and entrance ramps.... no accel or decel lanes or shoulders....

Hey nice work. Which nature mod did you use though? Gives your city a very natural realistic feel
