Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Ferris Wheel of Paris was the largest Ferris Wheel during its whole lifetime ( and it took as I know until the 1970ies as again a Ferris Wheel of such size was built!). It was built for world exhibition in 1900. In 1937 it was dismantled as its site was required for building the "Village of Switzerland" ( Village Suisse )
