Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): The tower was according to all available information the only wooden radio tower built in Poland after 1945. According to all available information this tower and that of Golm transmitter ( http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=47056 ) may be the only wooden radio towers built between 1945 and 2000.

The tower was as nearly all wooden radio towers for mediumwave broadcasting.

In 1967 the tower was replaced by a 72 metre tall guyed mast radiator, which exists still today.

Interesting Facts/Records (in own words):
Przebędowo transmitter was a mediumwave broadcasting transmitter of the Polish Broadcasting Company, inaugaurated in 1959. It was a 300 kW transmitter, which worked on 738 kHz and could be easily received in whole Europe at night time.

Przebędowo transmitter was the mediumwave transmtter for Poznan and as authorities in Eastern Europe kept in nearly all cases the sites of transmitters as secret as possible, it was not known as Przebędowo transmitter, but as "Poznan transmitter", although the site was approximately 15 kilometres away from Poznan.

In 1998 it was ( as most other Polish mediumave transmitters), switched off and its antenna mast was dismantled.
