This is a collection of some of the better pictures I've taken around my hometown of Omaha. I bet many of you never knew Omaha looked like this. Enjoy!

From the Postal Annex. One of the best views of Downtown showcasing a surprising density. The old buildings in the foreground are the Old Market which predates SoHo in NYC.

I took these from 902 Dodge. A condo building on 10th St. between the Qwest Center, GL Mall, and Old Market. All of the brick buildings here are either hotels or condos.

Looking good, Omaha!

But uh.... who's gonna be the first drunk person to bust their face on that sidewalk near the pedestrian bridge?

I like those pictures. There seems to be a uniqness to the buildings. What I see missing is some of those tall, square, all glass buildings, which I personally feel have no aesthetic beauty. Just one big square box. :yuck: The builidings in the pictures truly have a beauty. Those twilight pictures are awesome.

Nice going with those pictures.

Thank you. I' think Omaha has a good skyline. It's not the tallest but you can definantly see how the city and the skyline have evolved. Especially from this vantage point where you can see it go from old to new.

Na'ice! Omaha must have a nice urban feel if many of those brownstones are apt./condos. When the movie About Scmidt came out I was like, look at that cool building that is going up. The dvd really showcased the construction in it's extras.

I'll have to get some pictures of the area you're talking about. That's the Old Market.
