The tower of Hammetschwand-Elevator ( http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=47238 ) is 118 metres tall. It is situated close to a rock and attached to it.
The elevator itsself starts in the rock. The first 14 metres are running in the rock. On the next 30 metres the elevator shaft is still in the rock, but one can look out.
Afterwards the elevator runs hrough the 118 metres tall tower. The passengers leave the cabin out of a bdridge.
