Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): "Förderturm Deutsches Bergbaumuseum" was built in 1944 for extracting coal at a coal mine at Dortmund-Herten. In 1973, it was dismantled and afterwards rebuilt on the area of "Deutsches Bergbaumuseum" ( German Mining Museum) in Bochum.
It is a remarkable monument with observation deck today.

Deutsches Bergbaumuseum is one of the most interesting tourist attractions of Bochum, where until the Mid 1980ies was also coal mining ( on the area, where today the museum is, was never a mine).
