Hehe, I've been to that club, gilpel. It wasn't bad. I don't remember so many cheesy looking people though. I guess this is one of the less classy clubs in Quebec City? Those people look like they belong in my hometown of Kelowna, B.C.
I'm ruined as far as clubs (discotheques) go in Canada anyway. Living in Shanghai for the past 18 months has destroyed any chance of me enjoying the club life in Canada, well....Western Canada at least. I was back in Vancouver last Christmas and realized for the first time how terrible clubbing options are for a person in their late 20s. I guess I'll become a pub and lounge lizard when I get back to Van.

I haven't gone to a bar/club in about a year now (I'm currently going through some weird phase, I think). Anyway, I loved Lee's Palace and the Dance Cave in Toronto's Annex neighbourhood. Always a good time there. Very fun and friendly crowd. Sorry, no pics. But, yes, Toronto certainly has clubs/discotheques. There is a district in south-west downtown with a large concentration of clubs. Other districts have a lot as well (most notably College St).

The one thing that I always find interesting is the different age groups that hit the clubs in Quebec; we even see that accross the river from here in Gatineau. In most Ontario dance clubs, it is hard to find groups of women anywhere near their 30's, while in Quebec (and the pictures prove it) it is not uncommon to see women in clubs pushing their forties. I guess it is true that people in Quebec party way harder (and longer) than those of us in English Canada; no surprise though.
