Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): The mast stood from 1950 to 1963 at Hamburg-Billwerder ( http://skyscraperpage.com/cities/?buildingID=60443 )and was there used at mast radiator for long- and mediumwave. In 1964 it was dismantled and rebuilt at Kronshagen.
The mast is a mast radiator insulated against ground with a FM transmission antenna on its top. Close to it, there are two smaller guyed masts and tower for mobile phone services of prefabricated concrete parts. One of these smaller masts is a steel tube mast radiator and the other is also a guyed lattice steel mast.
Between this mast and the second tallest mast a wire with unknown use is spun ( http://www.senderfotos.de/images/schleswigholstein/kronshagen5.jpg ).
The mediumwave transmitter, which used it as antenna was until 1993 used for transmitting the NDR programme on 612 kHz. According to waveplan of Geneva, it may only operate at daytimes. From 1998 to 2004 it was used for transmitting "Power 612", a pop music programme ( of course only at daytime). In spite of the low power of 10 kW it could be received also in Danemark and South Sweden.
