I'm trying to find out who are the Structural Engineering companies that have worked on, or are currently working on some of the taller buildings in Dubai. Probably in list form would be the most viewer friendly.

Thanks alot!!!!

(ps- first time posting, won't be the last)

Since many of the buildings are done by international firms, I wouldn't expect the engineers to be from Dubai. For example, according to Wikipedia, SOM (who I thought was strictly an architectural firm) is doing the structural design for Burj Al Dubai aswell as the architectural and mechanical.

Yes, I'm aware that most of the firms are from outside of UAE. I'm currently working on a project there. We're trying to track down who's working on some of the other high-rises there, possibly for peer review on a future project. I think some of them are British (english speaking is a bonus).

So anyone have any details on who's the structural engineering firms doing some of the high-rises in Dubai?

Maybe emporis would help since they list this type of stuff.
http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/ci/bu/sk/li/?id=100485&bt=2&ht=2&sro=1

Also you might be able to find some stuff on skyscrapercity
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=377
but don't expect someone to be able to list them all as it would take a good bit of work.

Follow Malec's advice. Either Emporis or check the SSC thread for the towers. Most of the threads will contain this information, probably in the form of some articles or press releases posted there.

I can list some:

BURJ DUBAI: 818 meters: SOM
Al BURJ, 1200 meters (reported): LERA & Assoc.
DANCING TOWERS, 351 meters the tallest of the three: MEINHARD Singapore
PENTOMINIUM, 516 meters: AEDAS
BURJ AL ALAM, 501 meters: ARUP's Japan office

Wow NeiNastran, good job finding the Burj Dubai website so fast. You're a good searcher. (sorry for the sarcasm)

I'm not so much interested in the Burj Dubai, I've already spoken with its lead designer from SOM. I'm curious about some of these other funky buildings being done. AltinD's reply was helpful, thank you. Anyone know of other structural engineers that are doing work there?

^^ As I already told you, check the respective threads for the towers in SSC and there you'd find for sure who their structural engineers would be.

PRINCESS Tower, 101F, 412m: Design and Enginnering ADNAN SAFFARINI Studio (U.A.E.)
INFINITY TOWER, 80F, 330m: Design SOM (U.S.A.), Enginering Khatib & Alami (Lebanon & U.A.E.)

SSC is inherently the best source for this particular inquiry, since there are active threads about all of the buildings you are curious about, tended to by people who are actually there, and know this sort of information easily.

Mile High tower in Saudi is currently being designed by Arup + Hyder joint venture as written in the article below:
