Hey

I have decided to make my first city in Google SketchUp. It will be located in Central Florida's east coast. I would like help naming the new city. Please vote which one of the four is the best.

Thanks

ok, I took to long to post the poll, so I will just list a few. They are:

Eastway
Waterburg
Hatchee
Otahita

I'd add "Beach" at the end, such as Waterburg Beach, or Eastway Beach, etc. Just my opinion.

Waterburg is good. Otahita is catchy though... :)

Thank you for the replies everyone. I have decided to name the new city Otahita because it is the most unique sounding. It follows the common Florida tradition of using indian words for place names (Tampa, Miami, Tallahassee just to name a few real ones) I found the word Otahita in an online glossary for indian words. It means damp place, which pretty much sums up the city's location.

You may choose one if you'd like to  (except Otahita of course, since it's now reserved )

That would be a more appropriate and intelligent decision.

This is where Otahita is going to be located in Florida. The real location is Melbourne in Brevard County, however, in the fictional realm where Otahita exists, Melbourne will not.

Imagine this image with nothing but grasslands (no roads, no houses, no buildings, no bridge), and that is how the land looks before Otahita will ever be built.

I always struggle with coming up with city names. I was playing Sim City 4 a while back and built a city. I called it "Trees". I got a chuckle out of seeing the news report coming on and saying: "Citizens of Trees calm and content - they're happy in Trees." I named the mayor Bob. Another city I built, New Isle, I named its mayor Quimby. So whenever they'd address him, 'Mayor Quimby'.
