I'm looking for information on this proposed 64 floor tower in Oakland? Have any renderings been produced?

I pulled up some information on this project that people might be interested in.

The project is now referred to as 1938 Broadway. It is a 59 story office tower with 1.7 million gross square feet on Broadway between 19th and 20th Streets in Downtown Oakland. The building has 2 levels of basement that connect with BART, 58 floors, the top 59th floor at 730' is mechanical, level 60 is the roof at 745' and the top of roof screen brings it to 790' total.

The building would occupy 47,850 sq. feet foot print. The lobby and retail space would have 45,100 sq. feet, 1,019 parking stalls on 12 floors covering 346,650 sq. feet, about 1.1 million sq. feet of office on 45 floors and a 116 room hotel with 141,100 sq. feet would cover the parking floors fronting Broadway.

Alternatives include 44-45 story building that would house residential/office, and another with hotel/residential/office.

Let me know if you want more info.

There is a section drawing of the building but no elevations.

I was wondering what was going on with this proposal. When last I heard, it was suppose to be 827' or so with 63 stories, so if this is indeed the same proposal, its been cut down a tad. No worries though, as it should easily be the tallest building anywhere in the Bay Area outside of San Francisco. All in all, pretty good news for Oakland and future proposals there as well, in my opinion. :)

If you dont mind me asking, where did you happen to come by this information?

I got my hands on the EIR report. I work for the City so I have access to information regarding proposals.
