It's not a new building. It's an old skyscraper that had been vacant but is now being reclad and converted into condos.

well its better for this to look like a new building as opposed to a poorly recladded building. Zodiac isnt the first person that thought this is a new building...but you know what, it might as well be new since the only thing that remained intact with the Wachovia Building was the steel frame.

One thing I did observe is that the materials and colors used on Center Pointe looks very similar to the Bellemeade Parking deck next door

Its a shame that people are being fooled into thinking this is a new building, when it is in reality a 40-year old superstructure of a 1960s modernist box.

Ironically, just behind this building at the corner of Friendly and Greene is another very early tall building for Greensboro built in the 1920s. It had a classical facade which was considered ugly and out-dated in the 1970s when it was reclad with a reflective glass facade. Time does not treat reclads very well.
