Rigi is a 1797 metres high moutain at the North edge of the Alps of Switzerland. From its summit, one has a very well view toward North, which make it an excellent panorama and TV transmission site.

Summit of Rigi can be reached by two rack railways, one started at Arth, the other starting at Vitznau. The rack railway starting from Vitznau is the oldest rack railway of the world, designed by enginner Niklaus Riggenbach.
