Someone posted this link today at SSC about the Fed-Way projects, but when i was looking through the endless pages of this Architects page i notice a large scale Seattle Development!!

Seattle Waterfront
Based on VIA’s work on Vancouver waterfronts, the
firm was asked to work on the southern segment
of the proposal to replace Seattle’s Alaskan
Way Viaduct with a $3 billion tunnel through
downtown.
VIA’s strategy was to create development parcels
to defray net public expenditure and maximize
public benefits. The intention was to leverage
the synergy of public and private investment by
creating a pedestrian-oriented townhouse urban
village as a green lid over the new tunnel portal
and access ramps.
This transforms a “land take” into a “land make”,
creating net added value of mixed use development
and public amenity by building the “connect”
foundation for the tunnel portal.
The project is under review by the City of Seattle
and Washington Department of Transportation
to determine the mechanism for project
implementation.
-There are some renderings of this really cool project, pending on if they build the tunnel or not. You can find the renderings on page 93 of the Adobe Script.
-On the first few page(like 1-15) Renderings and descriptions of the Fed-Way projects
-Pages 80-100(approximately) Projects around the PAC NW.
Enjoy:)
-and sorry if this is confusing or if you don't have Adobe reader
