Al sharq is a very good one, although the rendering might be deceptive.
Too bad it's only proposed.

Forgot to put in Al Yacoub Tower which was a 330m tower designed to resemble Big Ben. It reached the 4th floor and stopped since the developer was forced to redesign. :)

Also there's a massive project to be built between emirates towers and the trade centre tower. With it comes a tower (right next to SZR) that is to be around 450m tall, but won't start for another few years.

Fabb, "proposed" doesn't mean anything really. It's actually approved, in that there's no problem for the developer to be allowed to build it. It's just that it hasn't started yet and there's no information apart from some models and renders, even though it's been around for a while.

That green and gold tower(Al Attar, I think) is seriously nauseating. Possibly the most hideous thing I've seen in Dubai. I really, really don't get some of this stuff.

On the other hand, Rose Rotana I'm quite fond of... just get rid of the 1000 foot advertisement on the side of it.

Al Attar is one of the ugliest buildings being built right now. I don't know why anyone would live in such a building. Yuk.

It may have been called the Pinnacle.... originally they weren't sure if it would be taller than the burj dubai and then after a while (which was earlier this year) they had planned for it to actuallly be a good bit taller than the Burj Dubai... I haven't seen anything on it.... did they shrink the plans?

It's nice to see the Emirates Park Towers again. These are some of the most original looking towers on earth. The facade could've been better but I won't complaint, they're pretty amazing. I can't wait to see the completed design. And I really can't wait to see them at night. I hope they're lit up or have LED lights on the main outline of the building.

Also here is a picture of Kahlid al attar tower which was demoted from being a supertall since it's only 294m tall now. The spire will be going up on this one very soon as well.
