I know that India has been investing a lot towards her road network.

That said I have gone to many a map site and cannot find a map that shows freeways on the roads. I mean ones that are completly differently marked from just regular 4 lane roads with stops etc. Much like the way the US Interstate system is very clear as are CDN and European freeways.

Any help?

There is no freeway system in India yet. There are a limited number of expressways.

What has mostly been in news is the four laning project of some National Highways. The main aim is to complete four laning of 12,000 kms. Interchanges and underpasses are also being slowly built, so maybe in four five years lots of stretches will be grade separated.

Thanks for the info.
I know there is the Mumbai - Pune expressway but does that mean all other roads even with their improvements have stoplightss at every road intersection?

Well there is the Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway, the Durgapur Expressway, the Gurgaon Expressway. Many other expressways are in the pipleline.

For the normal highways, some intersections do have stop lights. Others have a stop signs or even traffic cops (when it is going through a town). Many intersections are grade separated. It is still an evolving system.
