If somebody's been to Bulgaria recently and has some pictures from there, can you please post them here. A friend of mine is going to Bulgaria next month, and I couldn't really find any decent pictures from this year anywhere, so... I'd appreciate it if anyone could post something :) My friend is going to visit the cities of Sofia and Varna, so if anyone has pictures specifically from those cities, that would be wonderful. :-) Thanks guys. Every time I visit the European section of this forum, it feels like taking a trip around Europe :-) One day, when I can afford a Eurotrip myself, I'll make sure and post some pics here as well :-) Until now, I'll make sure to post my friend's pics (I'm sure she'll take plenty) when she gets back, but for now, if someone has ANY pictures from Bulgaria, please post them, so we can compare them with what I'll get in 2 months :-) :tup:

Hi, sorry for the late response, but I didn't see the topic. I live in Sofia, so here are a few pictures, not all are made by me. Some are from friends, and some from our local peering sites. So here we go with a short trip around the city:
This is Bulgarian National Bank (BNB - in Bulgarian the abrievieture it's the same - БНБ). The building it's in the Core center of the city.

Next up it's the President's work building (To the front). On the right it's the Administration building of the Government).

This is the old home of one of our kings Boris. Now it's the National Art Gallery. It's on Alexander I square. Along with BNB.

This is the statue of the city's patron saint Sofia. It's near Tzum and Hotel Sheraton which are both right next to the President's office and the office of the Prime Minister.

I had a lot more pictures but my HDD blew before I could manage to write most of them on a disk :(

There are some construction sites in the center right now because of works for the subway, but all in all it's basiclly the same.
