Interesting Facts/Records (in own words): Tower belongs to the oldest lattice towers of Czech, inaugaurated on July 15th, 1887 by Prager Maschinenbau-Aktiengesellschaft ("Ruston").
In 1893 a restaurant was built close to the tower. This restaurant was destroyed in the 1950ies by fire.
Tower is today in very bad state, as noone cared of it after World War II. In 1996 it got the state of monumental protection, but it was not renovated until now.
Tower is situated on Studenec Mountain, a 737 metres high mountain at Děčín
