maybe you search up a specific empty lot in an american city, then we all post skyline shots and such then make a poll and whoever wins wins.
I've Got an Idea, what If we make a design competition on choosing a major American City like Seattle, Phoenix, Minnianapolis (r.i.p bridge victims) or Atlanta for a new tallest building? Whoever has the most votes wins.

It wouldn't be much of a competition then. All the buildings will look a like.

I'm not fussed on the location really , or wether we decide on our own locations , but could we make a it a 'green' theme ? including details of environmental aspects of our designs

 Give it some time first , CGII is probably away from home and others aren't aware of it yet ,
What will be the buildings purpose though ?
and lets think of it more as an amicable challenge , raher than a comp :whip:

How about an art-deco building competition. Whoever designs the best art-deco building wins. But here's the trick, there can be no textures. Purley detailed design.
What do you think?

But remeber NO TEXTURES! This is purley design skill. And that makes me love this idea even more. I actualy prefer making buildings without textures (except surface textures are obviously okay).
I am actually currently working on a project using no whole-building textures. All the floors are visible through the windows and everything is drawn within SketchUp. It looks even more realistic. I'll post the thread for it once I think of a name.

I think it should be any floors and any purpose.
A good date would be Friday the 10th? (a week, 7 days, from now)?
But what does everyone else think of that date?
Mocholate
Aug 3, 2007, 6:49 PM
i reckon a week from after we get a response from everyone

Just make an origianl art deco building without textures, of any amount of floors. There is no specific location. It can be office or residential.

That date is just fine.

You don't even have to do windows. Think of it as a scluptor sclupting a sculpture from a marble slab. Just the building.
